About this adventure

The dancers of Encinitas Ballet perform The Nutcracker in a holiday production organized by the City of Encinitas at the San Dieguito Academy Performing Arts Center. The classic winter story is danced to Tchaikovsky's music with costumed scenes, and the organizers describe the show as suitable for audiences of all ages. There are three performances on one December weekend: two on Saturday, at 1 PM and 5 PM, and one on Sunday at 1 PM, so families in North County can see a daytime Nutcracker close to home without a trip downtown. Seating is general admission. Early-entry tickets open the doors at 12:15 PM for the afternoon shows and 4:15 PM for the Saturday evening show, and ADA seating tickets are sold as a separate ticket type. Lot parking is available at the school, and card payments carry a 5% processing fee. Ticket prices appear only in the online checkout.
