A nighttime train ride through Ardenwood's 'haunted forest' run by the Society for the Preservation of Carter Railroad Resources (Ardenwood's Railroad Museum) with EBRPD. The ride is described as spooky, not scary, and designed especially for children under 12 and the young at heart. Five evenings: Friday Oct 16, Saturday Oct 17, Friday Oct 23, Saturday Oct 24 and Sunday Oct 25, 2026, starting 7:00 PM. The event sells out quickly; tickets went on sale online in September. The EBRPD listing gives two prices: the description says tickets are $20 each (includes fees) for everyone ages 3 and up, 2 and under free, while the online notes say tickets are available at the gate on arrival (unless Eventbrite shows sold out) at $16 each for everyone ages 3 and up.
