The Cable Car Museum occupies the working Washington-Mason powerhouse and carbarn on Nob Hill, where visitors can watch the giant winding wheels that pull San Francisco's cable cars, see three antique cable cars from the 1870s and learn how the system works. Admission is free. The museum is open every day except Mondays, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas; the information page prints seasonal hours of 10AM to 4PM and 10AM to 5PM. A ramp for disabled visitors is on the Washington Street side of the building.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Zip code not printed (site footer gives '1201 Mason Street - San Francisco'). The info page prints two hour ranges (10AM–4PM and 10AM–5PM) whose season labels were lost in text extraction; the site copyright reads 2004–2023, so hours may be stale.
