About this adventure
Family Fun is Happy Hollow's Saturday-morning class for a whole family group, held inside the park and zoo in Kelley Park. Each session has its own nature theme: the Fall Festival class on October 31 brings pumpkin- and bat-themed activities, Run Away Racers (November 14) looks at the fastest animals, Hop, Skip & A Jump (November 21) explores why animals bounce and leap, and Aquarium Terrarium (December 12) visits the fish, seaweed and shells. The fee covers a family group of up to five people, adults or children, and children under 2 are free; every child must attend with an adult. After class, families get Stay-&-Play hand stamps for the rest of the day when the park and zoo are open. Register ahead through the City of San José's recreation site; each date is offered at 10 a.m. and again at 2 p.m.
