About this adventure
In this Environmental Volunteers community program at the EcoCenter in the Palo Alto Baylands, EV docents guide families through hands-on activities about the different kinds of bats, how they hunt and what they eat. Children work with real bat specimens and explore some of the myths and mysteries surrounding California's local bats. EV notes that no live bats are handled during the program. The activities are aimed at ages 6 to 11, though older children are welcome to join. The program is free but capacity is limited, so registration is through Eventbrite, with a waitlist if tickets sell out.
