About this adventure
Gatorbotics, an all-girls FIRST Robotics Competition team from Palo Alto, brings its competition robot to the Children's Discovery Museum for a two-hour demonstration. Kids watch the robot in action, hear how high-school robotics and FRC work, and can put their own questions to the team members. Participants also take home a STEM box kit with a Halloween-themed activity. A good introduction to engineering for elementary-age children and a chance to meet teen role models in robotics.
