Edgeworks Tacoma, part of the largest locally owned network of climbing gyms in Puget Sound, offers bouldering and rope climbing with experienced instructors who coach kids from toddlers to teens through youth programs, climbing camps and scout programs. The gym is open Monday-Friday 6:00am-10:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-10:00pm and Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm, opening at noon on New Year's Day. Day passes are purchased at the front desk (walk-ins welcome) and include climbing, fitness areas and yoga for the day: $25 individual, $19 student; gear rentals are $7 shoes, $5 harness, $3 chalk bag or a $12 full package. On October 24, 2026 the gym hosts its 22nd annual Blacklight Bouldering costume competition with glowing walls, fresh boulders and prizes.
