Thousands of families gather in downtown Edmonds on Halloween night for a fun, safe trick-or-treating experience organized by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce: Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Participating businesses hand out treats along the route, with a community dance-along near the fountain led by Bayclub Harbor Square dance instructors. A live costume contest takes place at Main Street Commons (6th and Main); registration is free, opens on-site at 5:00pm, and the contest ends at 6:30pm, with youth (0-17) and adult (18+) categories. An event map with street closures is posted on the Chamber's page. The Chamber describes it as a free community event and is seeking donations to keep it running.
