At December's free Second Saturday at Auburn's Postmark Center for the Arts, artist Teruko Nimura leads a drop-in modeling-clay workshop on wintery creatures inspired by Japanese folklore. Figures are baked in the oven before the end of the session so they go home ready to paint or give as gifts, and eyelet hooks are provided to turn them into a necklace, earrings or an ornament. All supplies are included and all ages are welcome, but minors must stay with an adult for the whole craft. The gallery is open noon to 4 pm.
