About this adventure

Chesterfield's parks department sets up a small, cozy Santa evening for young children inside City Hall. Kids gather around the lit holiday tree while Santa reads a holiday story, then each child gets a cookie and makes a festive craft to take home with help from Chesterfield Police officers, so it doubles as a friendly first meeting with local officers. The program is aimed at ages 2 to 12; adults come along free and only children pay. Expect a short early-evening program rather than a long party, which suits preschoolers and early elementary kids who would melt down in a crowded mall line. Sign up in advance through the city's online recreation catalog.
