About this adventure

Two days before Thanksgiving, Kirkwood Public Library turns its program space into a balloon workshop: kids design their own miniature Thanksgiving Day parade balloon using aluminum foil, markers, a laminator and a straw. It is a drop-in craft for all ages, so there is no sign-up and families can come and go during the hour, which makes it an easy after-dinner outing during the short school week. Bring the finished balloon home in time to watch the big parades on Thursday morning. Staff may photograph the program for the library's publicity; tell them on arrival if you prefer not to be photographed.
