About this adventure

One night of the Saint Louis Zoo's Wild Lights holiday festival is set aside for neurodivergent guests with sensory sensitivities and their families. The evening mirrors the regular Wild Lights experience, with more than a million twinkling lights along the paths of Historic Hill, s'mores over open firepits, specialty hot chocolate and photos with Santa, but adds sensory maps, quiet areas and trained Zoo staff on hand to help anyone who needs a break or support. There is no timed entry: doors open at 5 p.m., last entry is 8 p.m., and the event ends at 8:30 p.m. Plan for an outdoor winter walk, dress warmly, and use the sensory map to choose a route and locate the quiet spaces before you go.
