A storytime signed in American Sign Language, followed by crafts and social time, at Carpenter Library on South Grand. St. Louis Public Library runs it with DEAF, Inc. It is designed to be accessible for deaf children and their families, but all children are welcome. The program lasts about an hour on a Saturday morning in the children's area and is recommended for ages 8 and under. It is a good chance for hearing families to see ASL storytelling and for deaf and hard-of-hearing children to meet peers. Call 314-241-2288 for other accommodations.
