The Gravity Lab inside Climb So iLL’s Steel Shop in St. Charles’ Frenchtown neighborhood offers fun-climbing challenges aimed at younger and newer climbers: 20-foot towers, themed fun walls including a wall of spinning gears, and a top-out boulder that you descend through a slide. A single-visit session includes harnessing up and an orientation followed by almost two hours of climbing. Ten-visit passes and private parties/group bookings are also sold. Sturdy closed-toe shoes with grippy soles are required; climbing shoes and chalk are not allowed.
