For Native American Heritage Month, Central Library hosts a family art session on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 5 to 6 p.m. Participants paint a design inspired by traditional Métis beadwork onto a black canvas, a way to learn about a distinctive Indigenous art form while making a piece to take home. The program is suggested for ages 5 to 17 together with their families.
