About this adventure
A relaxed two-hour guided hike on the Rock Quarry Trail at Rockwoods Reservation to identify Missouri's winter birds by sight and sound. Beginners who are curious about birding and experienced birders are both welcome. The same morning (10 am–noon) MDC offers a separate indoor Winter Bird ID session reviewing more than 30 common winter birds and the foods that attract them; each needs its own registration. Registrants must be at least 13 years old, so this suits teens with their adults.
