About this adventure
A Clearwater Beach holiday tradition: the Clearwater Beach Library and Recreation Center's annual Gingerbread Beach Hut Workshop, where families decorate a pre-built gingerbread "beach hut" together. Houses and decorating supplies are provided, and you are welcome to bring your own finishing touches. Beyond the gingerbread, there are refreshments, prizes, ornament crafts and a family photo area, so bring a camera. Registration is required for a pre-built house, with one hut per family or friend group — the library prefers each group to register once rather than individually. Registration opens a month ahead, on November 4 at 5:00 PM. Arrive on time: late arrivals may lose their spot to the waiting list, and repeated no-shows can cost registration privileges.
