Weekly kids cooking classes at Young Chefs Academy on State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel. Each class is planned around a monthly theme and builds culinary skills week by week. KinderCooks is paced for preschool and elementary-aged children with age-appropriate recipes, basic nutrition and kitchen safety; JuniorChefs builds on a student's kitchen experience with culinary techniques; SeniorChefs is an in-depth extension for students who have met specific criteria. Single class $55; monthly membership $179 reserves a seat in a scheduled class each week with no annual contract. Age range for class types is used as an initial guide and may vary. The academy also runs Friday night Kids Night Out, family events, a homeschool culinary program and seasonal camps.
