About this adventure

Avalon Park Wesley Chapel throws its annual Avalon Aglow holiday celebration on Saturday evening, December 12, in the heart of the community's downtown on Friendly Way. From 5 to 9 p.m. there are pictures with Santa, a bounce park for kids, food trucks, vendors, and live music and performances, and the night ends with a fireworks show. The community also runs a porch decorating contest alongside the event. Avalon Aglow is free and open to the public, not just residents; the neighborhood sits about three and a half miles east of I-75 on State Road 54. Earlier the same day the Downtown Saturday Market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., so families can make a full day of it. Questions go to the community's welcome center by email or phone.
