About this adventure

The City of Largo sets up a calm, uncrowded Santa visit in downtown Largo's Ulmer Park for children with autism and other sensory needs, and for families with members who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Instead of a long mall line, children can take their time with Santa, who can communicate in sign language. The evening includes sensory zones, alternative seating options and therapy dogs to help kids settle in, and the gazebo park in the middle of downtown keeps the setting small and outdoors. Bring your own camera for photos. Families are asked to pre-register through the city's SignUpGenius page so the visits can be spread out, but walk-ups are welcome. Questions go to the city's special events team by email.
