About this adventure
A five-mile loop of stone-dust trail around the 167-acre Mariners' Lake, inside the free 550-acre Mariners' Park. Families can do shorter combinations from 0.5 miles, and the trail is graded easy to moderately hard with 215 feet of elevation change. Along the way are 14 large numbered wooden bridges, 13 footbridges, benches about every quarter mile, and four overlooks (Monitor, Pinetree, Oaktree and Holly Tree). For strollers, the park's 1.5-mile Meadow Path is stroller-friendly after a short shell section, and the 0.5-mile Loop Road Path is mostly flat.
