Garden Tots is Hillwood's hour-long garden class for children ages 2 to 5 with an accompanying adult, held on select Friday mornings. Each session explores a new theme in the estate's gardens through make-believe, hands-on art-making and imaginative play. In the research window there are two sessions: Fall Fun! on October 23, when children enjoy the autumn colors and make a leaf-print artwork, and Winter's on the Way on November 13, when they bundle up to hunt for acorns, pinecones and critters getting ready for winter and craft a nature-inspired wreath. Each class is limited to 15 children and needs at least four enrolled to run. Tickets are $12 per child ($10 for members).
