Tucker Road Ice Rink is a Prince George's County parks rink with a standard NHL-size ice surface, fully enclosed, at the Tucker Road Athletic Complex in Fort Washington. It runs general public sessions several days a week, usually weekday late afternoons, Friday nights and early afternoons on Saturday and Sunday, plus weekday "Super Saver" sessions whose price includes skate rental, which suit families with younger children or homeschoolers. New skaters can rent a Skate Mate skating aid. Prices are lower for residents of Prince George's and Montgomery counties (proof of residency and ID required) and are the same for children and seniors. The rink also offers private and group lessons, freestyle ice for figure skaters, and a dance studio and party room. Session times are posted month by month and change for programs and rentals, so check the current month's hours or call the rink before visiting.
