Chevy Chase Library holds a special winter-vacation open session of LEGO and DUPLO play on Monday, December 28, from 3 to 4 p.m. The library supplies the LEGO and DUPLO bricks; children bring the imagination and use critical thinking and problem-solving to build toward a result. It is for children 1-1/2 years old and up with an adult, and no registration is necessary, so families can drop in during the hour. The session meets in the Meeting Room on the library's lower level. Chevy Chase Library is at 8005 Connecticut Avenue; questions to 240-773-9590.
