About this adventure
For Kwanzaa the Children's Museum of Atlanta hosts Nguzo Babies, a local children's entertainment group, performing The Missing Candle: A Kwanzaa Mystery twice on the CMA Stage. The interactive show introduces young children to Kwanzaa through music, storytelling, puppetry, movement and humor: as the characters hunt for a missing candle, children sing, answer questions and help find clues, so they take part rather than simply watch. The museum notes that the show includes characters in mascot costumes, worth knowing for children who are wary of them. Two performances, at 12:00 and 2:00 pm, are included in museum admission.
