About this adventure
The touring stage version of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! plays two Sunday performances at the Gas South Theater in Duluth as part of the Gwinnett's Broadway series. Max the Dog narrates as the Grinch, whose heart is two sizes too small, schemes to steal Christmas from the Whos of Whoville, with sets and costumes modelled on Dr. Seuss' original illustrations and the songs 'You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch' and 'Welcome Christmas' from the animated TV special. With a late-morning 11 a.m. performance as well as a 3 p.m. show, it is one of the easier holiday theater outings for preschoolers and early-elementary children seeing a first musical. Everyone aged 2 and older needs a ticket, and on-campus parking is paid.
