About this adventure
North Atlanta Dance Theatre opens the metro's Nutcracker season early, with four performances at the Gas South Theater in Duluth the weekend before Thanksgiving. The production follows Clara through the Land of Snowflakes to the Land of the Sweets to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy, danced by the studio's students and company to Tchaikovsky's score, and it is pitched as a holiday family favorite. Matinees on Saturday and Sunday afternoons suit younger children; there are evening shows on Friday and Saturday. Everyone aged 2 and up needs a ticket (Ticketmaster), parking is paid on campus, and the theater is cashless.
