About this adventure
Woodstock Arts' holiday production is the Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens musical version of A Christmas Carol, the Broadway adaptation in which miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by ghosts on Christmas Eve and led through his past, present and future until he rediscovers generosity. Rated for all ages and running about 90 minutes with a 15-minute intermission, it works for school-age children who can sit through a full musical; Sunday 2:30 p.m. matinees and the extra 2:30 p.m. shows on December 23 and Christmas Eve fit younger families best. A Thursday, December 10 morning performance is booked by contacting the theater rather than online. Tickets are slightly cheaper online than at the door.
