The City of Kennesaw lights its Christmas tree in Depot Park, downtown, on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The evening opens around 6 p.m. with a choir performance and builds to the tree lighting, with hot chocolate provided by 1885 Grill. It is a short, low-key weeknight celebration that suits families with young children who want to see a tree lit without a long evening out.
