The City of Kennesaw and Chabad of Kennesaw light the menorah at the Main Street Plaza downtown on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, at 6 p.m. — the sixth night of Hanukkah. A short reception with refreshments comes first, and the menorah then stays in the Tunnel Plaza for the rest of Hanukkah, so families can come back to see it lit. The event is free and open to the public, and short enough for young children.
