From Monday, November 23 through Christmas Eve 2026, Santa sits for photos in a North Pole-inspired cottage in Palmer Plaza at Avalon in Alpharetta. Visits are by appointment, booked through Avalon's online scheduler; walk-ups are taken only if time allows, except on Christmas Eve (10 a.m.–5 p.m.), which is walk-up only. Hours are Sundays 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Mondays noon–6 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday noon–8 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m.–8 p.m., with one or two 'reindeer-feeding' breaks each day; Santa is off on Thanksgiving. Photo packages start at $40 for the Santa Photo Experience with five digital photos, with print and Christmas-card bundles at $45 and a $50 value bundle. Cancellations less than 48 hours ahead are not refunded. Santa also does walk-up pet portraits on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
