About this adventure

Now in its 11th year, the Gobble Wobble is a Thanksgiving-morning 5K and kids' fun run at Halcyon, the walkable shopping and dining district off GA-400 in Alpharetta. The chip-timed 5K walk/run starts at 8 a.m. with age-group awards, and the Kids Fun Run for children 10 and under follows at 9:15, so parents can run first and then cheer their own little runners. Every child in the fun run gets a commemorative crewneck sweatshirt or hoodie and a finisher medal (guaranteed for those registered by November 20). Donations raised by the race go to Meals by Grace, which provides meals to local children and families in need. There is no race-day packet pickup: packets must be collected November 21–25 at Big Peach Running Co. in Cumming or Dawsonville. The event runs rain or shine. A virtual 5K option is available for families who will be traveling.
