About this adventure

The City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department's December Movie in the Park shows the holiday classic A Christmas Story (rated PG) outdoors at La Verde Park, starting at sundown. Families are invited to bundle up and bring blankets, lawn chairs and holiday cheer for an evening under the stars following Ralphie's quest for the ultimate Christmas gift. Personal food and coolers are allowed, leashed pets are welcome, and food vendors will be on site, so the city suggests arriving early to grab a bite and enjoy the park before the film starts. Movies in the Park is weather dependent, and any cancellation or rescheduling is posted on the event page and the city's social media. ADA modifications can be requested through the parks department.
