The Shepherd's Staff's 20th annual Festival of Trees fills the John Street Quarters in downtown Westminster over Thanksgiving weekend with more than 30 decorated holiday trees, each offered through silent auction (with virtual and buy-now options). Local school groups and community choirs perform on Friday and Saturday, and visitors can browse artisan gifts, cash-and-carry holiday items and baked goods. Admission is free. The festival is the charity's largest fundraiser and supports emergency financial help for Carroll County individuals and families in crisis. Hours: Friday 10 am–5 pm, Saturday 10 am–5 pm, Sunday 10 am–2 pm.
