Linthicum Library's monthly bring-your-own-dinner family movie night goes festive in December with A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa (rated G, 56 minutes), in which Gonzo forgets to mail three letters to Santa and talks Kermit and the gang into delivering them to the North Pole. Families bring their own dinner plus a blanket or camp chair and settle in on the meeting-room floor; the library provides popcorn while it lasts, and pajamas are welcome. The short running time makes it a good first movie outing for preschoolers, and it is open to all ages. No registration is listed.
