During Mount Airy's annual Jingle & Mingle, Santa Claus takes a break from his busy schedule to meet children at the Mount Airy Caboose on Main Street. The line to see him is outdoors, so dress warmly. Families can also take carriage rides down Main Street, with drop-off and pick-up in the Railyard, and grown-ups can finish their holiday shopping while many downtown shops offer in-store specials. It runs from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, December 18, and is free to attend.
