A naturalist leads families to the shoreline of Otter Point Creek at low tide to see what treasures the receding water reveals at the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center in Abingdon. Low tide exposes mudflats and the edges of the marsh, making it easier to spot shells, tracks and small creatures. The one-hour Sunday afternoon program is for ages 5 and up, and anyone under 18 must come with an adult. The fee is $10 per family and pre-registration is required. Wear shoes that can get muddy.
