Edgewater Library celebrates the longest night of the year outdoors at Mayo Beach Park. The hour begins with a short story time, followed by a wintry walk, hot chocolate and a bonfire, while families learn about the winter solstice and look ahead to longer days. It is listed for all ages from preschoolers to adults, so the whole family can come. The program starts at 3 pm on a Saturday, ending around sunset; dress warmly and wear shoes suitable for a walk near the water. Meet at the park rather than the library building. The feed does not indicate registration.
