About this adventure
Keith Lockhart's Boston Pops tour their Holiday Pops program to Lowell Memorial Auditorium for a Sunday matinee, letting Merrimack Valley families hear the tradition without going into Symphony Hall. The concerts date back to Arthur Fiedler's first three-concert series in 1973 and have become an annual family ritual of seasonal favorites and sing-alongs. The 2:30 pm start is friendly for children who would not last through an evening concert. Ticket prices are not printed on the venue page; tickets went on sale in August, and Holiday Pops performances often sell out.
