Preschoolers and their grown-ups start this Halloween morning with a not-so-spooky story time on Brighton Common at 11:00 am, then parade together in costume to the Faneuil Branch Library for a Halloween party that begins at noon. Costumes are encouraged but not required. The walk and party are co-sponsored by the Friends of the Brighton Branch Library and the Friends of the Faneuil Branch Library and are aimed at children from birth to age 5. Plan for a short outdoor walk between the two locations, so bring a stroller or carrier for the smallest marchers.
