A free guided nature journaling session for teens 14 and up and adults on the puddingstone ledges of Geneva Avenue Cliffs, a Boston Urban Wild in Dorchester, under October's Hunter's Moon. The Trustees Boston Resilience team runs it with the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department's Urban Wilds Program. A guide offers short prompts with quiet stretches in between, and participants write, sketch, list questions, or note whatever helps them notice the landscape as the sun sets around 5:30pm. It suits both people who already journal and complete beginners. Journals and pencils are provided. Wear sturdy shoes for rocky ground and bring a headlamp and something to sit on. The site is a rocky ledge with steep, uneven paths, no railings, lighting or restrooms. Registration is required; the rain date is October 27. Reachable by Red Line and buses 16 and 17.
