An afternoon art festival for the whole family at Mass Audubon's Boston Nature Center in Mattapan. Visitors explore the sanctuary to see which animals and plants are around in the cold months, then turn their observations into art at a series of stations for nature journaling, printmaking, watercolor and soap making. All materials are provided at every station, and families take their creations home. It runs from 11am to 3pm on the Saturday before the winter holidays, so families can come for part of the afternoon. Parking, bathrooms and a water bottle filling station are on site.
