As the days get shorter, young gardeners bring a little green indoors at Powisset Farm. In this hands-on crafting class in the Powisset kitchen, kids design and build their own miniature fairy gardens using natural materials, tiny plants and whimsical decorations, choosing plants, arranging the landscape and adding personal details. Each child goes home with a miniature world to care for. It is a one-hour drop-off class for ages 6 to 11; pre-registration closes 24 hours before, and at least 8 participants are needed for the class to run.
