A bilingual English-Spanish story time and craft workshop for children ages 3 to 8 and their caregivers at the Harvard Museum of Natural History in Cambridge. Bilingual museum educator Javier Marin reads a storybook in both languages that celebrates being bilingual as a kind of superpower that boosts the brain and connects people across cultures. Afterwards kids and caregivers stay for a hands-on craft workshop where they can get creative, practise Spanish and meet other families. The program runs 90 minutes in Classroom B on the third floor. Advance registration is required and space is limited; regular museum admission rates apply, so families can explore the galleries before or after.
