Stone Zoo marks World Snow Leopard Day with a day of activities about one of the world's most elusive big cats. From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm an education station shares facts about snow leopards and the zoo's partnership with the Snow Leopard Trust, and kids can get hands-on with snow leopard-themed crafts and activities. A keeper chat at the Himalayan Highlands habitat lets families hear from the team who cares for the zoo's cats. Kids are encouraged to come dressed up, and a printable snow leopard mask is available on the zoo's Kids' Corner page. Activities are included with general zoo admission.
