A civics-themed drop-in program at Discovery Museum in Acton where children think about what matters to them in their neighbourhood and community. Kids draw and write about what they love about where they live, and the museum then sends the pictures and messages to elected leaders or anyone else the children want to talk to about their community. It is a gentle introduction to having a voice for preschool and elementary-age children, with grown-ups helping younger ones write. The program runs from 10am to noon on a Sunday and is included with museum admission.
