Mooresville's Christmas parade, held the Tuesday before Thanksgiving since 1944, travels south down Main Street. First responders open with lights and sirens at 3 p.m.; the procession of floats, marching bands, dance and tumbling troupes, vintage and modern vehicles, the Grinch and Santa follows at about 3:30. Free; 5,000–7,000 spectators expected, no rain date.
