About this adventure

South County Regional Library in south Charlotte runs a monthly adaptive session for teens and adults with autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration issues or other developmental disabilities, together with their caregivers. Branch staff fill the hour with books, music and interactive activities; the listing takes up to fifteen registrations and keeps a waitlist. Sessions in this window fall on Tuesday afternoons, November 17 and December 15, 2026, from 2 to 3 p.m., during school hours. Registration opens two weeks before each date and stays open until the session starts. The same program repeats each month at the branch, so a family can make it a regular outing.
