Downtown Statesville's Gingerbread Workshop lets kids build a milk-carton gingerbread house at The Watering Hole on West Broad Street, with all supplies provided. Three sessions run at 10:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and noon, each limited to 30 participants, so registration is required and families should arrive at their ticketed time. The cost is $3 per person and the workshop is billed as fun for all ages. Santa and Mrs. Claus are also on hand for cocoa and photos. It is part of Downtown Statesville's 'Tis the Season program.
