Huntersville's 11th annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony is hosted by the Town of Huntersville with American Legion Post 321 and its Auxiliary. The parade steps off at 9:30 a.m. through downtown Huntersville, and a ceremony honoring veterans follows at 11 a.m. at Veterans Park. This year's parade celebrates America's 250th anniversary. It is a free, outdoor community morning that works well for families with children of any age: bring chairs or a blanket, flags to wave and layers for a November morning, and arrive early for a curbside spot.
